The 45.9 can be built as a centre boarder. This bullet-proof configuration has already proved itself on more than 300 Allures. A centre boarder is very safe because of the inner ballast. For that last knot of extra speed, there is also a performance version available, including a deep-draught swinging keel (below right).
Since 2003, we have been building Allures with aluminium hulls and composite deck superstructures; strong where necessary (underwater) and ergonomically shaped where possible.
With so many circumnavigations, the yard can draw on a large database of experience experts. This is why the ergonomics are right at Allures. Allures sailing yachts are light, practically laid out, comfortable, insulated and have good external visibility. The build quality, the materials used, the oversized components; Berret-Racoupeau designed a seaworthy, comfortable world sailor.
